The Church in the Hills believes that the mission of the local church is to connect people to their God, therefore, everything we do will be intended to expose each person to a deeper knowledge of the God of the Bible. We believe that the Scriptures should be taught with great depth in order to profoundly affect the beliefs of each person so that each person will be profoundly affected by their belief system. Our response to what we believe will be expressed corporately in music, drama, and the arts. Furthermore, we believe the New Testament model of discipleship and community is the means by which Jesus intended to bring about a purposeful church devoted to connecting all people to their God.
That being said, The Church in the Hills will seek first, and foremost, to be a church devoted to proclaiming the Gospel message found in the Bible with clarity and authenticity to a community of people that might otherwise never hear of the grace, mercy, and love of their God. In response to the beauty of the Gospel message, The Church in the Hills will be a church devoted to demonstrating our gratitude for the Gospel message found in the Bible by encouraging lives of generosity and sacrificial giving toward those God places in our path.
